Primary elections are happening now. Following the Supreme Court’s ruling in Louisiana v. Callais, states have moved fast to dilute Black and Brown voting power. Tennessee eliminated its only majority-Black district in eight days. Louisiana suspended some of its primaries after more than 104,000 people had already voted. Alabama tossed some of its primary results.
